INSANIA is a cult name on the Czech scene – a band that has earned respect across generations during its long existence. It has won the prestigious Anděl Award (Czech Grammy) four times, most recently in 2023 for the album „GRRRotesky“, which was named the best rock recording of the year. Their exceptional status is also evidenced by a number of victories in the Břitva Poll, including induction into the "Gallery of Legends".
In the summer of 2025, INSANIA completed their tour for the last album „GRRRotesky“ (Smile Music, 2022), which offered a toxic mix of hard metal rhythms and uncompromising electronic energy. The band then announced a break from touring – they will retreat to the studio until spring 2026 to prepare a new album. It will be released in the fall of 2026 and, according to tradition, will again hit a raw nerve – sarcastically, provocatively, and without compromise.
But fans need not worry – as early as the summer of 2026, the first nevevergreens will be heard at festivals, heralding the next chapter of this unmistakable musical beast.
